Orangewood series: “No offense, but … Dialog in a polarized culture”

Orangewood Presbyterian invites you to attend a three-part series entitled

“No offense, but … Dialog in a polarized culture”. The first two sessions are

Talking to Each Other/Understanding the Other’s Point of View on September 18 & 25, at 12:15 pm, Ken Page will lead these sessions, focusing on the book “The Righteous Mind” by Jonathan Haidt. The next two sessions,  Are some tenets of other religions compatible with the Christian gospel?, will be on October 2 and 9, at 12:15 pm. Joe Miller will lead these sessions on concepts from Don Richardson’s book “Eternity in their Hearts”. In the final two sessions, Islam: Opening the Door to Understanding, October 16 & 23, at 12:15 pm, Phebe Packer will continue the dialogue on talking to each other.  These sessions will focus on the book “Islam and the Future of Tolerance” by Sam Harris and Maajid Nawaz.  Orangewood is at 7321 N. 10th Street in Phoenix.  For more information or to register for the series, contact Phebe Packer, phebepacker@cox.net.
