First, we hope this email finds you safe and healthy. As our country continues to fight the spread of COVID-19, we wanted to follow up with you and see how you are doing and if you have any questions for the Insurance Board.
We would like to invite you to attend additional webcasts and access additional tools to assist your church or related ministry during this difficult time. Our next webcast is scheduled for next Wednesday April 15th at 2 p.m. eastern to focus on HR issues during COVID-19 and features two great HR speakers: Robert Brockman Jr. and Leslie DeMattia. Robert and Leslie will tackle issues such as maintaining staff, reducing staff, and re-employment during COVID-19. I have attached information regarding our new webcast.
You may ask what’s next after the HR webcast! Save the date for “Financial Controls and Best Practices for Churches” which is scheduled for April 28th at 2 pm eastern time.

If you believe you might have a claim or would like a clear coverage determination, we would be happy to submit a claim for your organization for adjusters to review and make a determination. The submission of a claim does not indicate any coverage applies and a determination of whether any coverage applies in this situation will be determined by the claim adjuster assigned to the claim.
We’re still with your church or related ministry. We are working for ministries as an essential service during the coronavirus pandemic.
We know that many churches and camps will have cash flow issues that result from not being able to hold worship, host preschools or hold other events for an extended period of time. As a result, the Insurance Board is willing to work with churches on an individual basis to consider alternative payment schedules. At present, it appears that payments will still need to be made, but we may be able to amend the schedule. We would encourage you to contact us as soon as you suspect that making your regular payments will be difficult.
Please feel free to forward this email to additional people within your organization.
If you have questions about your coverage, premium payments or other items related to these issues, please give us a call at 817-516-5501 or our home office in Indiana 317-888-6007 (888-908-6007). Please note that you may get voicemail because our in-office staff is very limited right now and call volumes are high. Email may be the fastest way to get a response!
Stay safe and healthy and Have a Blessed Easter!
Grace & Peace,
