Greetings to you from Juba, South Sudan in the Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace!
Thanks to God for what he is doing in our lives. I am happy the Guadalupe Presbyterian Church is being used by God to facilitate and serve in different capacities and specially with those who are in detention ‘I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
Thanks for remembering me in your prayers, I had nice time during my stays with you in Phoenix – Arizona and had a chance to meet South Sudanese and other African at your Church, I was happy there because the climate resonate with me.
South Sudan is now slowly opening up and trying to return to new normal; universities and selected classes in primary and secondary schools are also opening. Churches are now cleared to congregate for worship. We were to conduct Presbyterian Church general assembly meeting in April 2020 it was cancelled but now we are cleared to conduct it in November 2020. We request for your prayers, because this will be the first general gathering for the church since 2012. A number of delegates will be coming to Juba from all parts of South Sudan. The Presbytery meeting will elect a new moderator to serve the church for the next four years.
I will sign up to your facebook and like it so that I follow up on all is happening with you there.
Apart from the coronavirus, we are having flooding in two regions out of the three in South Sudan and that is Upper Nile and Bahr-el-Gazhal and Upper Nile is suffering a lot.
We are praying for a peaceful and transparent election comes November 2020 in the USA.
Sincerely your in christ service
